Added the appraisal and arrears calculator, covering an increment effective from one month and paid in a later month within the same year.
Salary calculator: basic pay and HRA can now be entered as a rupee amount as well as a percentage. Health insurance for parents was separated from your own premium, with the higher ₹50,000 limit applied where a parent is 60 or above. The surcharge working, which was already applied above ₹50 lakh, is now shown as its own line with an explanation.
Published the worked examples used to check each tool, and added this changelog.
Clarified the privacy wording. Figures entered into a calculator have never left the browser. The privacy policy now separates that from how advertising, where shown, uses cookies.

Launched the site with the salary arrears relief calculator, covering Section 157(1) with Form 39 for Tax Year 2026-27 and Section 89(1) with Form 10E for earlier years, back to FY 2015-16.
Added the CTC to in-hand salary calculator for Tax Year 2026-27, comparing both regimes, and the first two guides on choosing between the regimes and on the eight-city HRA rule.
